Description

SOMATIC WATER SERIES

Mondays 11-1

During the warm water dance sessions, we will now be moving away from skill based practices and will journey into longer somatic research exercises, engaging more with dancing out feelings and emotions from our subconscious.

 

We will begin each session with a meditative practice, move on to a longer movement research topic and end with a group jam.

 

Please bring a mask (I have a couple that I can lend out)

 

*Only open to those experienced in water dance, be in touch if you need to book an introductory session.

 

MOVING DEEPER SERIES

Sundays 11-2

We will journey deeper—physically and internally—descending toward 10 meters as the dance evolves into something more spacious, more silent, more profound.

 

Here, weightlessness becomes a teacher. As pressure increases and the surface fades, you are invited into a state of deep trust: in your body, your breath, your partner, and the water itself. Movement slows, perception sharpens.

 

We’ll explore how connection transforms in depth and how the absence of gravity opens a new dimension of expression.

 

*Mask, snorkel & weights required, wetsuit recommended

 

*Only open to those experienced in water dance

 

*These moving deeper workshops are only available to those who are certified to at least AIDA 1 in Freediving. If you are not yet certified to AIDA 1 you can join a course before hand which I am conducting, details below.
