For experienced movers and curious beginners.
We’ll begin with a guided CI class — tuning into listening through touch and movement. Contact Improvisation is a dance practice based on shared weight, momentum, balance, and playful awareness. Together, we’ll explore simple principles of moving with another person: leaning, following, supporting, falling, responding, and finding ease in moving together.
From there, we’ll open the space into a jam: a free, unguided space — a time to explore, dance, witness, connect, and play.
Class: 5-6:30 PM
Jam: 6:30-8 PM
Exchange:
🔹Class and Jam: 400 le
🔸Jam only: 300 le
— Jam is only for those who are familiar with contact improvisation.
💬 Kindly ask you to drop me a line if you want to join, also to get the location.
Please wear comfortable clothes: pants, a T-shirt, or a long-sleeved shirt with no buttons. Something comfortable to move in. No jewelry, no skirts, no half-naked body, no slim-fit 🙏
Take a bottle of water with you. You may also grab a few snacks if you wish, to share with others for the after-dance small talk. There are always thoughts to share and questions to ask.
Please read the commonly applied CI Jam guidelines — https://contactimprovboston.com/image/safety_lf.pdf
See you on the dance floor! ✨

Wonderful experience! Class Is really joyful with Lana
This wonderful weekly class and jam has become an essential element of my embodied practice in Dahab. The earlier lab session is highly recommended for Lana’s gentle and intuitive guidance and the open jam is a great way to practice being joyfully in the body with the other dancers. Recommended!
