Once a month (sometimes twice if there is a calling), I’ll go to Abu Galoum to dedicate three nights/four days to my own creative process — and I’m opening this space for others who want to do the same.
This is not a retreat or a workshop. It is a shared creative field. There is no hierarchy: you are responsible for your own process, while we support each other through co-creation and presence.
Why Abu Galoum?
The land itself is a creative catalyst. Raw nature: mountains, open skies, and the sea create a container unlike any other — one that naturally slows the mind, opens the body, and awakens imagination; brings you whole here and now. When this wild, powerful nature meets the presence of people with clarity and intention, something extraordinary happens: creative energy multiplies. Ideas and artwork flow more freely, inspired by both the land and the shared field of attention.
Abu Galoum is simple and rugged. We stay in traditional beach huts by the sea with mattresses, pillows, and covers.
Basic accommodation in traditional beach huts by the sea with mattresses, pillows, and covers; two fresh, vegetarian meals a day.
There is limited solar electricity for charging essentials, and cellular data is often available on-site. You can stay connected if you need to, though consider using the space to "unplug" from the noise.
I’ll offer optional elements for anyone who wants them:
Sharing circles
Daily somatic / movement practice
Authentic Movement
A walk to the valley
A period of silence — one day or part of a day to connect with yourself and the land.
Everything else is for your own process. You can witness, collaborate, or simply be — the choice is yours.
For Who?
Artists and creative spirits in need of expansive space.
Somatic / Movement practitioners seeking inspiration from the land.
Anyone who’s hesitated to share their work — this is a brave space to try.
Practical Details:
Accommodation + 2 vegetarian meals in Falak Camp (Abu Galoum). You pay the regular rate directly to the camp.
No facilitation fee, you pay only for your stay and transportation.
Boat to go there + shared taxi. I suggest taking a walk back (approx. 4-5 km along the coast), as the path is quite special.
Bring drinking water (or buy on site).
Upcoming Dates (subject to correlation if the wind is strong on the day of departure)
March 31 — April 3
About me:
I’m Lana — a movement and somatic facilitator, dancer, and co-creator of shared creative spaces. For many years, I’ve been exploring how movement, presence, and creativity can support deep personal and artistic processes, both alone and in group settings.
Since moving to Sinai, I’ve been deeply touched by Abu Galoum, where the presence of all four elements: earth, fire, water, and air is so powerful. As if they all converge within you — making you feel both small in awe and vast in connection. You feel a quiet, creative force weaving everything together. And it’s rough and deeply caring at the same time.
I go there for my own creative process, and I want to share this space — to hold a steady, open container where we can create, witness, and inspire one another — to support each other in our own creative process.
🪷Reach out for details.
P.S.
The structure is horizontal. If you feel moved to share your own practice or lead a session for the group, you are very welcome.
