Hatha Yoga is a one of the most known styles of yoga and said to be one of the most "traditional" practices. Our Hatha Yoga class involves postures - asanas and breathing exercises - pranayama and of course savasanna.
Often characterized by a slower pace and holding poses for several breaths, it is designed to build strength, flexibility, and mental calm while aligning the body, mind, and spirit. The word "hatha" can be translated as "willful" or "forceful," or it can be broken down into "ha" (sun) and "tha" (moon), symbolizing the balance of opposites.
