NEW TIME THIS WEEK! FRIDAYS 3-4 p.m. Are you ready to start 2026 with greater inner peace? That's the goal with this 6-week series of playshops—yes, inner work can be fun—offered by donation by Transformational Coach Suzanne Wentley. On Fridays for six weeks, we will share science-backed tips and proven strategies that you can immediately implement in your daily life.
Please bring a pen and notebook and join one or all of these interactive discussions, which will be on six different topics. The location is the large, quiet, and comfortable garden of Palm Circle in Assalah. (Exact location available through WhatsApp).
The schedule of topics are:
Jan. 2: Develop Your Daily Routine
Jan. 9: Holistic Movement Practices
Jan. 16: Figure Out Your Finances
Jan. 23: Mastering Meditation
Jan. 30: Relationship Goals
Feb. 6: Service To Feed Your Spirit
The format of most of these playshops includes a short presentation on research-backed guidance on the topic, along with wisdom sharing and an interactive discussion. Suzie has more than ten years of experience in coaching, a professional relationship based on mutual respect and learning. She doesn't know everything about these topics, but her years of scientific journalism, experience in the healing arts, and 11 years of full-time travel may give a perspective you'll find valuable. If she doesn't know the answer to your question, maybe someone else in the group will.
The first playshop on 2 January is on developing routines and habits that will maximize both your productivity and relaxation time (and yes, both are possible.) If you have a long list of to-dos in 2026, this is your place to start. By the end of the session, we will commit to new habits or routines and be equipped with the motivation and information needed for success as you define it.
Next, on 9 January, Suzie will combine her years as a yoga teacher on five continents (oh why did the Sinai have to still be in Asia!) with experience in the Egoscue Method, Yoga Therapy, and functional movement for a program anyone can and ought to follow. Holistic movement includes strengthening, stretching, balance, and movement that can help you extend your health span and avoid injury.
On 16 January, the playshop turns to finances. News flash: If you haven't figured out your financial health, it is a major source of stress. To increase your inner peace, which is the goal here, we must discuss finances. This is a bird's eye overview of things you need to be doing as a successful and professional adult to enjoy today and plan ahead for the future.
The 23 January session will be less of a lecture and more of a guided meditation for those who have been waiting to implement a regular practice into their lives. If you've said the phrase, "I tried to meditate, I just can't!" — this is for you. We'll discuss types, tips, and how this habit connects to broader emotional regulation.
The relationship playshop will be on 30 January, and it's open to couples and singles! We'll talk some basics that may be advanced to you or your partner: attachment theory, how to define compatibility, communication best practices, and the types of relationships that science says helps us live longer. And yes, totally, we're going to talk about dating apps.
Finally, on 6 February, we wrap up the playshop series by discussing perhaps the most powerful way to cultivate inner peace. Selfless service, the type of community effort that won't necessarily yield anything, brings a lot of joy. Yet, many people don't naturally see the opportunities. This is what we'll talk about, and who knows? Maybe you'll leave with a new project and friends to help make it happen!
Remember: Big goals DEMAND small steps, and information isn't enough. And if it's not fun, you're probably not going to do it. That's why these playshops are focused on ACTION. If you're passionate about living your best life by cultivating inner peace, please join us for this series of offerings.
