Rawya is a truly soulful instructor whose passion for the art of dance is shining from the moment the session begins. I loved how the class was structured, going from fun warm-ups to isolated movements and then finishing with a choreography piece that tied everything together beautifully. I left the session feeling inspired and with a lot of great ‘homework’ to practice.
A wonderful experience for anyone wanting to connect with their body through dance ❤️

The way Rawyah embodies baladi cannot be described in words – she carries this essence into her teaching and the space we move through.
The class is not structured, it is felt.
An intertwining of femine energy flowing and listening to our body and the portals within. Rawyah curates a space where it feels so safe and so fun to be in your own natural rhythm! <3

Rawya is amazing and she knows what she is doing. In the beginning of the class I felt so silly and shy but thanks to her encouragement and welcoming vibes by the end of it I felt more connected to my femininity and felttt freee to just dance!! experiencing the new moves I learned, it was a great experience and the vibes were immaculate! Rawya is a great!!!

Attending a workshop with Rawyah is different than any “bellydance” workshop/class.
Rawyah is a woman’s woman. She is quite generous with her giving, which makes her an amazing teacher. She explains the anatomy of the movement, the emotional states that rise, concepts of embodying femininity on a root level– rather than just performative dance.
Also, Rawyah is a great space holder, as she is patient and fully present in sessions, guiding, listening, sharing and mostly doing all of this with joy.
I always look forward to the sessions
Here’s to being safe again in the body— with pleasure ✨️

Rawyah is such an amazing teacher , she is patient, encouraging and a ray of sunshine. Of course she is super good at what she does: dancing and teaching.
The class doesn’t just contain dancing, she also teaches us how to embrace our femininity , our wombs and extra work out at mobility and body control + isolation. I’ve never done belly dance before but she made it so easy for us to enjoy and have fun at the first class . Thank u ❤️

Rawyah is such a talented dancer and above all, a great teacher. It was my first time and I am generally quite self-conscious about dancing. Through her encouragement and patience, I gained confidence in expressing myself through movement. I highly recommend her class, especially to beginners.

Rawyah is a passionate teacher with a beautiful, calming energy. Her class feels organic and joyful. At the end of every class, I’m surprised how much I’ve learned about belly dancing and my own body without forcing. Love her method and highly recommend!

I attended the somatic belly dancing workshop with Rawyah without really knowing how somatic work could connect with belly dance. I was curious but unsure.

What I experienced was something completely different from what I expected. The session was calm, slow, and intentional. Instead of focusing on performance or technique, it felt like an invitation to actually listen to my body.

I left feeling relaxed, grounded, and more connected to myself. It was fun in a gentle way — not overwhelming, not pressured. I also met beautiful souls and felt a genuine sense of connection, both physically and spiritually.

It was a nourishing experience, and I’m grateful I gave it a chance.

Belly dancing with Rawyah is something very special and important to me, because it helps me be more confident with my feminity. Usually I don’t believe I can be attractive at all, and as a matter of fact I’ve never been lucky with men. Rawyah really understood my need to feel like a woman and decided to help. Her compassion and encouragements are just as important as the dancing in itself. I think her sensibility makes her a great friend and teacher. I truly hope more women than me can start feeling better, in a non-competitive way, so I recommend dancing with Rawyah, and encourage her to continue share her moves and wisdom.

I highly recommend Rawia to anyone thinking of learning belly dance. She’s a skilled instructor who starts with simple steps at first, introducing us to the movements, and little by little, we find ourselves dancing. And the most important thing is that the class is really fun.

Rawyah is the embodiment of unified energy of the feminine and masculine. I would highly recommend her belly dancing classes to anyone, and sad I cannot be in person with her anymore. She holds classes with joy, presence, and fierce reclamation. She is so sweet and kind while still expressing how you can improve. I feel so held and loved in her space. You are able to drop into the classes or continue with her, growing each week. I would recommend going as much as you can if you want to learn this classical style. There is so much to learn and explore!
